Graphic Ideas
Graphic Ideas is a multi-disciplinary art and design practice founded by Hazel and Jeremy Brook which specialises in fine art, public art, illustration and graphic design. If you want to purchase any of Hazel's monotypes or paintings, please contact us by either phone or email. All work is supplied unframed and subject to a delivery charge.
Hazel Brook
Hazel studied at Croydon College of Art. She regularly exhibits her paintings and monotypes in both public and commercial art galleries. She has also been commissioned to design a number of site specific works in vitreous enamel and etched glass. Her first artist's book, To paint a portrait of a bird, consisting of illustrations to a poem by Jacques Prevert, was published by Graphic Ideas in 1994. She is currently working on a second book, At the limits of nature, consisting of illustrations to poems by twentieth century poets on the theme of liberty and the environment.

Jeremy Brook
Jeremy studied at Wimbledon School of Art, Croydon College of Art and the Royal College of Art. He has designed numerous publications for museums, art galleries and arts organisations throughout the United Kingdom. He has taught part-time at the London College of Printing, Ravensbourne College of Design, Eastbourne College of Arts & Technology, Hastings College of Arts & Technology and the University of Brighton. His first artist's book, Recovering the past, was published by Graphic Ideas in 2007.
